This helps us manage our schedule effectively, as we have experienced a number of missed appointments in the past. Yes! We offer two types of consultations:
Treatment costs can vary based on your specific diagnosis and the severity of hair loss. We do have standard pricing for the most common conditions: If you're unsure of your diagnosis, we recommend starting with the free SMS consultation.
Our treatments have a 95% success rate, but multiple sessions are necessary for optimal results. Most patients begin to see hair growth within six months. If you don’t see results, we may suggest a second round of treatment or alternative options, such as exosomes or stem cells.
While there are no definitive scientific studies comparing PRP and GFC, patient feedback suggests that GFC may produce results twice as fast as PRP and can be effective for patients who did not respond to PRP alone. PRP is generally less expensive since it uses your own blood platelets. If cost is not a concern, we recommend the combination of both treatments; otherwise, the six-month PRP treatment is an excellent choice.
Results can vary, but most patients experience reduced shedding within 1–3 months and visible hair growth in 4–6 months. Existing hair often appears healthier and thicker. Results continue to improve for about three months after treatment. For those with androgenic alopecia, a maintenance plan is essential.
Hair growth is not random; it originates from stem cells left by previous hair follicles. By stimulating these latent stem cells, we can encourage thicker hair growth, resulting in more hairs per square inch. While existing hairs may become darker and less brittle, they cannot exceed their original thickness.
Yes, if your diagnosis is androgenic alopecia, lifelong maintenance is necessary. This genetic condition requires ongoing care, which may include a DHT blocker and low-level light therapy — both of which we provide.
No, we do not recommend these medications due to their potential side effects and limitations. Instead, we offer a non-pharmaceutical DHT blocker in our shampoo, which has no side effects. Simply wash your hair twice a week for effective results. Minoxidil is temporary and can lead to hair loss once discontinued.
No, our treatments are designed to minimize discomfort. We pre-medicate with Tylenol, use a vibration tool to mask pain signals, and apply a cooling spray to desensitize the scalp. Most patients report minimal discomfort, and any pain typically resolves within 15 minutes.
Dr. Goldstein is a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Medicine and Harvard. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Florida Medical Center and served as a flight surgeon in the USAF. He has held significant positions, including NJ Commissioner of Health and President of the NJ Council of Teaching Hospitals. Since 2016, he has successfully treated over 1,500 hair loss patients, achieving a 95% success rate. There are effective non-surgical treatments for hair loss but oils and supplements are not a solution. These are not only costly on an annual basis but waste valuable time while the problem worsens. Alopecia can begin as early as age 15 and needs to be treated ASAP or the individual will be completely bald within 10 years. Losing your hair at any age is optional but treatment works much better.
